Back in 1969 when buildings were beginning to sprout faster than trees in Singapore, Richard L P Tan had a dream to bring the natural beauty of the tropical rainforest into the cityscape.

A pionner in the field of landscape architecture in Singapore, he has since grown his business, Garden & Landscape Centre (Pte) Ltd from a modest home office to one of the most respected industry leaders. With a reputation for outstanding creative ideas and uncompromising standards and service, Garden & Landscape Centre has made its mark not just in Singapore, but also in many parts of the world – including Mauritius, Seychelles, India and the People’s Republic of China, amongst others.
